I received a packet of cards today from a lady in Indiana yesterday. Here is a peek at them. I then packaged up and mailed 120 cards to the Ronald McDonald House in Little Rock. I have received an outpouring of cards from some awesome ladies who have been willing to help with this project. Thank you to all!
It has been a busy week, I finished the quilt my Mom had in the frames when she died, it is my grandson's quilt and it has been hard for me to work on, that is until my Aunt Martha came over and spent a few days working with me. It seems the time spent reminiscing, laughing, crying and sharing was as much good for me as the quilting was. Well Mom, it has been 2 years and 8 months, but the quilt is done. I hope you know this! Now, I have one she had cut out for another grandchild, so Ashtyn, I will try to eventually get yours done.
Junior High Football started last night and my youngest grandson is playing. Here is a quick look at my little Wildcat and two former Wildcats. A family tradition continues!
Now I want to show you the pictures of some cards I have done. This Thanksgiving card I have done is for a swap and I made extra for the RMH.
Here is one I did for my watermelon loving cousin for her Birthday, even though I am running late.
Last, but not least is a baby card I did for friends from church who have just added a beautiful baby girl to their family. Congrats. Now to finish the swap cards, and to make some more of the baby cards. Just love them all!
This morning I am having a hard time deciding which ribbon to use with this card. I am posting 3 choices and would appreciate your input as to which ribbon looks better. Please leave a comment and tell me Card A, Card B, or Card C.
Thank you for taking the time to help, Have a blessed day and send up a few prayers for some friends of mine who are in need of an extra prayer or two today!
